The team hosted Dayton and won in two sets, but the evening’s purpose extended beyond the scoreboard. Supporters wore pink, made donations and cheered as the school community rallied around a shared cause.

Head Coach Lashelle Bunion praised the players for bringing energy and determination to the match while showing their commitment to others.

Interim Athletic Director Patricia Volino-Reinoso led a ceremony honoring individuals and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The team’s Parent Committee helped organize the event, with support from the school administration and the wider Rahway community.

For the volleyball program, the gathering paired a strong performance on the court with an opportunity to support families and raise awareness together.
